Why So Few?

Something to make you go…hmm!  Have you ever wondered why the world produces so few exceptions to the rule.

  • What’s wrong with our system that we haven’t had another Einstein, or Edison?
  • We’ve got a world full of good athletes but so few great ones.  Why is Muhammad Ali the only athlete to dominate his sport and then transcended it to become a world icon for peace, humanitarianism, art, and marketing?
  • Why haven’t we had another Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or Martin Luther King.  Lord knows we still have social injustice.
  • With the billions of dollars being spent world wide on higher education and in business schools why only one Steve Jobs. Why only one Apple?  Oh wait…the answer to that one is actually the previous question.

It’s because these people were great doers and not just great thinkers.  If you want to make a dent in the universe you’ve got to move from thinking about doing something to actually doing it.

Go Do Something!
